Twin Lakes Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking a Charge Nurse (RN) to oversee nursing staff and ensure high-quality resident care. This role requires an active RN license and the ability to lead a team in a dynamic, patient-centered environment at our Greensburg, PA facility.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered RN license in the state.
• Ability to provide care appropriate to age-related needs of residents.
• Supportive team member with teamwork mindset.
• Ability to interact tactfully with staff, residents and visitors.
• Knowledge of nursing practices, laws, and guidelines for facilities.
• Leadership and supervisory ability.
• Able to relay information about a resident’s condition.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Successful completion of post-offer, pre-employment background check and drug screen.

Requirements of the Registered Nurse (RN) Charge Nurse

• Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an RN in this state
• Must demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age-related needs of the residents served.
• Must be a supportive team member, contribute to and be an example of teamwork and team concept.
• Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies or personnel, and the general public.
• Must be knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to nursing care facilities
• Must possess leadership and supervisory ability and the willingness to work harmoniously with and supervise other personnel.
• Must be able to relate information concerning a resident’s condition
• Must possess basic computer knowledge
• Must successfully complete a post offer, pre-employment criminal background check and physical / drug screen.
