Job Description: The Registered Nurse (RN) is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care. Schedule:

• Three 12-hour shifts
• Weekend nights
• Friday, Saturday, Sunday 7 pm – 7:30 am

Your day. As a Weekend OR RN Shift Coordinator / Charge RN, you need to know how to:

• Supervise and/or provide direct patient care. Support staff in responding to patient/family complaints, physician concerns, risk management, associate safety, and hospital safety.
• Respond to patient emergencies as needed. Lead during disasters.
• Collaborate with staffing to adjust for census changes during the shift.
• Communicate with the oncoming Charge Nurse about census, staffing, admissions, discharges, and patient information for assignments.
• Support unit management in productivity, staffing, and activities.
• Perform evaluations, coaching, and disciplinary actions as needed.
• Participate in hospital committees as a unit representative.

Your Experience. We hire people, not resumes. But we require:

• ASN / ADN from an accredited program with the ability to obtain a BSN within four years or 15 years of RN experience in an acute care setting.
• Current Colorado RN license or compact license with ability to obtain Colorado RN license.
• Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire (ACLS/NRP/PALS as appropriate).
• Minimum of three years of RN experience.

Scheduled Weekly Hours: 36

The hourly range is $42.00 - $59.18, dependent on experience.
