Armor Health is seeking a Charge Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at Blair County jail in Hollidaysburg, PA. The RN will work nights 6pm-6:30am with rotating weekends and lead unit-based patient care.

The ideal candidate holds an active PA RN license with at least 2 years of nursing experience, and is proficient with electronic medical records. CPR certification and the ability to pass background checks are required.

• Minimum of 2 years nursing experience.
• Proficient with electronic medical records.
• Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screen.

• Prepare, monitor, and coordinate the daily patient care activities of the unit to ensure all physician orders are implemented fully and all patient encounters are documented using the POMR format.
• Schedule staff and patients to ensure complete coverage of patient care at all times and to provide effective patient services.
• Lead, guide, and train employees performing related processes and expectations.
• Oversee and provide direct nursing care and consultation to patients.
• Coordinate services with other patient care units as required; maintains communication with allied services.
• Oversee quality assurance and infection control activities and compliance to operational standards
