As a Charge Nurse, you will supervise staff, coordinate admissions and transfers, and collaborate with physicians and families to maintain optimal resident health and safety. This on-site, full-time role offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities to lead a dedicated care team.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree or LN program graduate with active, unencumbered license.
• At least one year of supervisory experience in a healthcare setting.
• Trained in rehabilitative and restorative nursing.
• Knowledgeable of long-term care laws, regulations, and guidelines.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English effectively.
• Leadership and interpersonal skills to guide staff with professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily nursing activities to ensure high-quality care in compliance with regulations and directives from nursing leadership.
• Oversee resident admissions, discharges, and room transfers; welcome new residents and coordinate with families.
• Monitor staffing levels, attendance, and performance; participate in evaluations and supervision of staff.
• Maintain accurate nursing notes and care plans; ensure care delivered per plan and resident preferences.
• Notify families and physicians of significant condition changes; address concerns and grievances.
• Lead orientation, infection control training, and ensure proper PPE and safe environments.
• Provide direct nursing care as needed and support monitoring of critically ill residents.
