Qualifications

• Nursing degree or RN program with active state license.
• Minimum one year of supervisory experience in healthcare.
• Knowledge of rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices.
• Familiarity with long-term care laws and guidelines.
• Strong English communication skills and teamwork ability.
• Ability to lead staff with professionalism and tact.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise CNAs and nursing staff to ensure care quality and staffing adequacy.
• Manage admissions, transfers, discharges, and resident orientation.
• Maintain accurate nursing records, including care plans and orders.
• Administer medications per physician orders and ensure proper narcotics handling.
• Collaborate with physicians on care plans and participate in rounds.
• Update care plans daily and ensure staff follow the plan.
• Provide direct nursing services including wound care, vital signs, and catheterization.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and enforce PPE usage.
• Participate in inspections and ensure regulatory compliance.
