Qualifications

Role Overview:

The Telemetry Charge Nurse (RN) leads and coordinates patient care in a Cardiac Telemetry unit, providing direct nursing services and acting as a clinical resource for staff.

• Responsibilities: Develops and implements complex care plans, assesses patient data to prevent deterioration, and collaborates with the interprofessional team and families. Facilitates evidence-based practice, promotes patient safety, and strives to improve patient satisfaction and care quality. Acts as a leader in clinical practice, supports practice change, and evaluates care standards. Monitors patient outcomes and addresses care gaps. Ensures safety and adherence to hospital protocols.
• Qualifications & Skills: Requires RN license, with 2-5 years of Med/Surg or Telemetry experience; a BSN is preferred, along with 5-10 years of nursing experience. Demonstrates leadership, critical thinking, and excellent communication skills. Knowledge of evidence-based practices and patient safety standards is essential.

Key Duties:
