The SICU - Surgical Intensive Care Charge Nurse (RN) role involves leading and coordinating patient care in a high-acuity ICU setting, primarily for oncology, bone marrow transplant, and surgical patients.

Responsibilities include

• developing and implementing complex individualized care plans
• assessing patient data to anticipate and mitigate changes in condition
• collaborating with an interprofessional team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• driving evidence-based practice changes and quality improvement initiatives
• evaluating patient and family experiences to enhance care quality
• serving as a clinical resource and guiding staff in best practices

Qualifications include

• current RN licensure
