Job summary

Good Samaritan Luverne is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide individualized nursing care to residents, using the nursing process and collaborating with families and the inter-disciplinary team.

The RN will coordinate care, assess residents, educate families, and may serve as charge nurse, delegating tasks to licensed and unlicensed staff while maintaining high standards of practice.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred (CCNE/ACEN/NLN CNEA).
• Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred.
• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license in the state where practice is occurring; multistate licensure accepted where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care to residents using the nursing process.
• Collaborate with residents, families and an inter-disciplinary team.
• Coordinate care, perform resident assessments, and provide education as needed.
• May serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks according to competency.
