Job summary

Good Samaritan Luverne is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide individualized care to residents during day shifts. The role involves planning, implementing and evaluating nursing interventions and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality resident care.

The RN will coordinate care, perform assessments and delegate tasks to licensed or unlicensed staff as appropriate, maintaining standards of practice and ethical care. A MN RN license is required at time of hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred. Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), ACEN, NLN CNEA recognized programs encouraged.
• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where practice is occurring; multistate licensure acceptable in NLC states.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care to residents using the nursing process across assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Coordinate care, resident assessment, education and ensure safe, reliable administration of nursing care.
• May serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to licensed or unlicensed staff within scope of practice.
