Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Direct care teams: guide Nurse Aides to ensure resident care.
• Administer medications safely as prescribed.
• Implement care plans per policies and physician orders.
• Perform treatments to maintain resident health and comfort.
• Transcribe physician orders accurately and promptly.
• Document resident care in charts and complete nursing assessments.
• Collaborate during shift reports for continuity of care.
• Educate support staff on nursing procedures and resident needs.
• Maintain safety standards and infection control practices.
• Address staffing needs by arranging replacements when needed.
