Job summary

Hireology is seeking a dedicated Charge Nurse – LVN or RN to lead care teams and ensure high-quality resident care. You will supervise Nurse Aides, administer medications, and implement care plans in alignment with policies and physicians’ orders.

The role emphasizes accurate documentation, effective communication during shift reports, and safety compliance in a dynamic setting. RN or LVN licensure in good standing is required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Direct Care Teams: guide Nurse Aides to ensure appropriate resident care.
• Administer medications safely according to prescriptions.
• Implement care plans compliant with policies and orders.
• Perform treatments to maintain resident health and comfort.
• Transcribe physician orders accurately and promptly.
• Document resident care in charts and complete nursing assessments.
• Collaborate during shift reports for seamless communication.
• Educate staff on nursing policies and resident needs.
• Maintain safety by following infection control and body mechanics.
• Address staffing needs by arranging replacement staff as necessary.
