Job summary

Lovelace Health System in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a mid-shift charge RN to join our team. This full-time position requires a BSN or equivalent and a valid New Mexico nursing license, with BLS (ACLS preferred).

You will assess, plan, implement, and coordinate clinical education and information services while ensuring patient safety and compliance with policies. Weekend coverage may be required.

Qualifications

• BSN or equivalent nursing degree required.
• Minimum 2 years related nursing experience.
• Valid NM Nursing license or NM compact license within 90 days.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire.
• ACLS may be required by department.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate clinical education and information services activities.
• Ensure compliance with policies and patient safety.

• Lovelace Medical Center is an acute care hospital with 263 licensed beds, providing comprehensive care, including around-the-clock emergency care, surgical services, non-invasive robotic spine surgery, stroke care, radiology and oncology services.

Responsibilities

Responsible for assessing, planning, developing, promoting, implementing, coordinating and evaluating clinical education and information services activities. Adheres to policies, procedures and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.

Qualifications

Job Requirements

• BSN or equivalent
• 2 years related experience
• Valid NM Nursing license or NM compact license (within 90 days of hire)
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• Department may also require ACLS

Schedule

• We are looking for someone to work five 8-hour shifts, Monday–Friday. Mid/late-shift Charge RN, with hours approximately 1200-2030.
• This position will also required some Weekend coverage
