Job summary

Americare Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Charge Nurse (RN) to provide frontline clinical leadership and exceptional resident care within our skilled nursing community in Springfield, MO. You will oversee nursing services during assigned shifts and supervise caregiving teams to ensure quality care and regulatory compliance.

The role requires an RN license, strong clinical judgment, and experience in skilled nursing or senior living.

Qualifications

• Strong clinical judgment and leadership skills.
• Familiarity with state and federal nursing regulations.
• Experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, or senior living preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee nursing services and clinical supervision during assigned shifts.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and facility protocols.
• Supervise and guide nursing staff, including LPNs, CNAs, and CMAs.
• Complete and update resident assessments, care plans, and clinical documentation.
• Communicate changes in resident condition to families, physicians, and leadership.
• Ensure compliance with nursing care standards, policies, and procedures.
