Job summary

Americare is seeking aCharge Nurse (RN) to provide frontline clinical leadership within our skilled nursing community. You’ll oversee nursing services during shifts, supervise caregiving teams, and ensure residents’ needs are met with professionalism and compassion.

You will guide care delivery, administer medications, and ensure compliance with state and federal nursing regulations while promoting a supportive team culture and high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current RN license required.
• Strong clinical leadership and supervisory capabilities.
• Experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, or senior living preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee nursing services, administration, and clinical supervision during assigned shifts.
• Ensure compliance with nursing care standards, policies, and procedures.
• Supervise nursing staff including LPNs, CNAs, and CMAs.
• Complete and update resident assessments, care plans, and clinical documentation.
• Communicate changes in resident condition to families, physicians, and nursing leadership.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and facility protocols.
