The Charge Nurse will supervise aides, administer medications, implement care plans, and help maintain compliance with policies and regulations while supporting resident well-being.

Qualifications

• RN or LVN in good standing
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Accurate nursing assessment and documentation
• Ability to multitask and respond to emergencies

Responsibilities

• Direct care teams and guide Nurse Aides to ensure appropriate resident care.
• Safely administer resident medications as prescribed.
• Execute care plans per policies, federal guidelines, and orders.
• Deliver treatments to maintain resident health and comfort.
• Transcribe physician orders accurately and promptly.
• Maintain timely, accurate documentation and nursing assessments.
• Participate in shift reports for seamless communication.
• Educate staff on nursing policies and care needs.
• Promote safety with infection control and body mechanics.
• Address staffing shortages by arranging replacements.
