Job summary

Hireology is seeking a dedicated Charge Nurse – LVN or RN to lead care and support resident well-being in a dynamic team. This role requires trustworthiness, consistent attendance, and multitasking in a fast-paced environment.

You will supervise nurse aides, administer medications, implement care plans, and document accurately. Collaboration during shift reports ensures seamless communication and continuity of care.

Qualifications

• Must hold active RN or LVN license in good standing.
• Strong nursing assessment, documentation, and care planning skills.
• Ability to lead care teams and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Direct Care Teams: guide Nurse Aides to ensure resident care.
• Administer Medications safely as prescribed.
• Implement Care Plans per policies and physician orders.
• Perform Treatments to support resident health.
• Transcribe Orders accurately and promptly.
• Document Resident Care in charts and assessments.
• Collaborate during Shift Reports for continuity.
• Educate Staff on nursing policies and resident needs.
• Uphold Safety: infection control and body mechanics.
• Address Staffing Needs by arranging replacements when needed.
