Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Direct Care Teams: guide Nurse Aides to ensure resident care.
• Administer medications safely as prescribed.
• Implement care plans per policies and orders.
• Perform treatments to maintain resident health.
• Transcribe physician orders accurately.
• Document resident care in charts and complete nursing assessments.
• Participate in shift reports for care continuity.
• Educate staff on nursing policies and resident needs.
• Maintain infection control and safety procedures.
• Address staffing shortages by arranging replacements when needed.
