Job summary

Abrazo Central Hospital, part of Tenet, is seeking a Nurse Manager to oversee a clinical unit in Phoenix, AZ. The role coordinates scheduling for registered nurses, ensures regulatory plans are in place, and serves as a liaison with pre-hospital providers, medical staff and hospital administration.

The position requires a nursing degree with at least two years of clinical nursing experience, AZ RN license, CPR, and ACLS as applicable. BSN is preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: Nursing degree from an accredited nursing school.
• Experience: Two years relevant clinical nursing experience.
• License/Certifications: Arizona RN license; CPR. ACLS as applicable by facility/department.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates unit staffing and RN scheduling.
• Acts as liaison to internal and external customers.
• Develops and implements plans to meet regulatory requirements.
• Trains and mentors nursing staff.
• Delivers patient care according to standards and delegates tasks.
• Maintains focus on customer service and quality improvement.
