Job summary

Regency Care of Rogue Valley in Grants Pass, OR is seeking a dedicated RN to join us as Charge / Wound Care Nurse. You will supervise nursing staff, assist with medications, participate in care planning, and ensure resident well-being in a home-like setting. Must hold a current RN license in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Train staff and assist the director of nursing
• Support dignity, privacy, independence, choice, individuality, and a home-like environment for residents
• Assist residents with instrumental activities of daily living, ADLs, environmental orientation, assistance or administration with medication, treatments, and other care while encouraging self-care and independence, as permitted by state regulations
• Ensure care as indicated on resident treatment and service plans
• Know and follow infection control and safety procedures
• Review, update and communicate resident care documentation
• Evaluate health emergencies to determine medical measures per nurse scope of practice and state regulations

Charge / Wound Care Nurse Opportunity

Wound Care Certification Not Required, But Would Be Preferred.

As a charge nurse (RN), you are essential to quality resident care. Duties include medication assistance/administration, nursing services, training/supervising staff, and all things related to resident well-being.

You Will

• Train staff and assist the director of nursing
