Creative Solutions In HealthCare is seeking a dedicated Charge Nurse (LVN or RN) to lead care teams and ensure high-quality resident care. The role emphasizes safe medication administration, care plan execution, and accurate charting in a dynamic setting.

You will guide nurse aides, coordinate shift reports, and educate staff on policies while maintaining infection control standards and staff coverage. A valid RN or LVN license is required with strong clinical and organizational abilities.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) in good standing.
• Strong technical, assessment, and documentation skills.
• Excellent communication and ability to organize workflows.

Responsibilities

• Direct Care Teams: Provide guidance to Nurse Aides to ensure appropriate care for residents.
• Administer Medications: Properly and safely administer resident medications as prescribed.
• Implement Care Plans: Execute resident care plans in compliance with company policies, federal guidelines, and physician orders.
• Perform Treatments: Deliver treatments as required to ensure resident health and comfort.
• Transcribe Orders: Accurately and promptly transcribe physician orders.
• Document Resident Care: Maintain timely and accurate documentation in resident charts and complete required nursing assessments.
• Collaborate During Shift Reports: Participate in shift reports to ensure seamless communication and care continuity.
• Educate Support Staff: Implement nursing policies and procedures, educating staff on the care needs of residents.
• Maintain Safety Standards: Promote a safe working environment by complying with infection control and body mechanic procedures.
• Address Staffing Needs: Respond to staffing shortages by arranging for replacement staff as necessary.
