Blue Valley Health and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a NOC Charge Nurse (LPN or RN) to provide exceptional nursing care for residents. You will lead with mentorship alongside RN Supervisor, Director of Nursing, and Administrator to ensure high-quality care.

The role requires a caring personality, English fluency, and leadership abilities. You will follow facility policies while delivering medications, assessments, and professional nursing services during the 6pm-6am shift.

Qualifications

• Certification as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN).
• A caring personality and demeanor.

• The ability to read, write & speak English.

Responsabilités

• Enhance the clinical care and quality of life of residents while protecting resident rights.
• Prepare and administer medications as ordered by the physician.
• Check residents daily to ensure treatments are properly administered and assess status.
• Keep the RN Supervisor informed about residents, staff and related matters.
• Implement changes as directed by the RN Supervisor or Director of Nurses.
• Provide professional services such as catheterization, tube feeding, suction, dressings, bags, and specimen collection as per policies.
• Complete required record-keeping forms and file charts accordingly.
• Give and receive nursing reports at shift start and end times.
• Investigate complaints and grievances and report findings to supervisors.
• Present a professional image to residents and families.

We are looking for the best Charge Nurse (LPN OR RN) to provide exceptional care to our residents. Come join our amazing team of healthcare professionals!

Shift:

NOC (6p-6a)

As a NOC Charge Nurse, you are responsible for providing exceptional nursing care in accordance with our policies and procedures. You will have all of the training, support, tools & equipment you need to provide the highest degree of quality care. Our team of nursing care professionals & mentors will be by your side every day, including RN Supervisor, Director of Nursing, and Administrator.

Your responsibilities will include:

• 1. Enhancing the clinical care and quality of life of our residents. And ensuring that all resident rights are protected.


• 2. Preparing and administering medications as ordered by the physician.


• 3. Checking all residents daily to ensure that prescribed treatment is being properly administered by nursing personnel/assistants and to evaluate their physical and emotional status.


• 4. Keeping the RN Supervisor informed about the status of residents, staff and related matters.


• 5. Implementing recommended changes as directed by the RN Supervisor or the Director of Nurses.


• 6. Administering professional services such as: catheterization, tube feeding, suction, applying and changing dressings/bandages, packs, colostomy and drainage bags, taking blood, sputum, and urine specimens, etc., as established by the facility’s policies and procedures.


• 7. Completing all required record keeping forms/charts upon the resident's admission, discharge, transfer, etc. File in the resident's chart and/or forward to the appropriate department.


• 8. Giving and receiving nursing reports upon reporting in and ending shift duty hours.


• 9. Investigating complaints and grievances and making necessary oral/written reports to the RN Supervisor or Director of Nurses.


• 10. Presenting in a professional image to residents and families through dress, behavior and speech.
