Recover-Care Healthcare in Kansas seeks a Charge Nurse (LPN or RN) to provide exceptional resident care during the NOC shift (6pm-6am). You’ll lead nursing staff, administer medications, and ensure residents’ rights are protected.

Responsibilities include daily resident checks, documenting care, communicating with the RN Supervisor, and adhering to policies. We offer benefits and opportunities for growth.

Responsabilités

• Enhance the clinical care and quality of life of residents while protecting their rights
• Prepare and administer medications as ordered by the physician
• Check residents daily to ensure treatments are properly administered and evaluate status
• Keep the RN Supervisor informed about residents, staff and related matters
• Implement changes directed by the RN Supervisor or Director of Nurses
• Provide professional nursing services as needed per facility policies
• Complete all required documentation at admission, discharge, or transfer
• Give and receive nursing reports at shift start and end times
• Investigate complaints and file reports as needed
• Present a professional image to residents and families
• Adhere to facility policies and standards

Description:

We are looking for the best Charge Nurse (LPN OR RN) to provide exceptional care to our residents. Come join our amazing team of healthcare professionals!

Shift:

NOC (6p-6a)

Your responsibilities will include:

• Enhancing the clinical care and quality of life of our residents. And ensuring that all resident rights are protected.
• Preparing and administering medications as ordered by the physician.
• Checking all residents daily to ensure that prescribed treatment is being properly administered by nursing personnel/assistants and to evaluate their physical and emotional status.
• Keeping the RN Supervisor informed about the status of residents, staff and related matters.
• Implementing recommended changes as directed by the RN Supervisor or the Director of Nurses.
• Administering professional services such as: catheterization, tube feeding, suction, applying and changing dressings/bandages, packs, colostomy and drainage bags, taking blood, sputum, and urine specimens, etc., as established by the facility’s policies and procedures.
• Completing all required record keeping forms/charts upon the resident’s admission, discharge, transfer, etc. File in the resident’s chart and/or forward to the appropriate department.
• Giving and receiving nursing reports upon reporting in and ending shift duty hours.
• Investigating complaints and grievances and making necessary oral/written reports to the RN Supervisor or Director of Nurses.
• Presenting in a professional image to residents and families through dress, behavior and speech.
• Adhering to our policies and standards.
