We’re seeking a dedicated and reliable Charge Nurse - LVN or RN to join our growing team! This role requires trustworthiness, consistency in attendance, and the ability to multitask effectively in a dynamic environment. A professional and cooperative demeanor is essential to collaborate with others and provide exceptional care to residents.

Your Impact as a Charge Nurse - LVN or RN

• Provide guidance to Nurse Aides to ensure appropriate care for residents.
• Administer medications safely and properly as prescribed.
• Implement resident care plans in accordance with policies, guidelines, and physician orders.
• Deliver treatments to ensure resident health and comfort.
• Transcribe physician orders accurately and promptly.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation in resident charts and complete nursing assessments.
• Participate in shift reports to ensure seamless communication and care continuity.
• Educate support staff on nursing policies and resident care needs.
• Promote safety standards by complying with infection control and body mechanics procedures.
• Respond to staffing shortages by arranging for replacements as needed.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse in good standing.
• Excellent technical, assessment, and documentation skills.
• Strong communication skills and effective workflow organization.
• Ability to respond efficiently to emergencies and attention to detail.
