Vitality Living in Arlington, VA seeks a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support our wellness team. The role involves administering medications, monitoring residents, and collaborating with physicians to ensure safe, individualized care.

You will document patient data, participate in care planning, and uphold professional standards within a warm, respectful community. The ideal candidate maintains an active LPN/LVN license, CPR certification, and strong English communication skills,

Formación

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Meet state health related requirements.
• Maintain current professional license if LPN/LVN.
• Maintain current CPR certification if LPN/LVN.
• Maintain any other certifications as required by state or provincial regulations.

Responsabilidades

• Administer or assist residents to self-administer medications and treatments.
• Measure vital signs and weight.
• Collect, store, and ensure transport of certain specimens for laboratory studies.
• Communicate with physicians via telephone, fax, and Physician Communication forms.
• Implement physician orders and ensure laboratory reports and data are filed in resident charts.
• Act as community supervisor when management staff is not present.
• Assist in development and revision of service plans and inform Wellness Director of resident needs.
