Job summary

Smith Village in Illinois is seeking a dedicated RN Charge Nurse to lead nursing staff and coordinate resident care on a 12-hour shift from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM. The role offers a pay rate of $41–$43 per hour with an additional $2 per hour night shift differential and a 10% weekend differential.

The RN Charge Nurse will oversee scheduling, ensure adequate staffing, and support the nursing team to maintain Smith Village standards and resident well-being.

Qualifications

• Must have RN or LPN license in good standing in Illinois.
• Minimum 3 years Long Term Care experience preferred.
• Must possess excellent customer service, communication and leadership skills.
• Strong computer skills are essential.

Registered Nurse Charge Nurse Assists with scheduling and ensures adequate staffing coverage. The RN Charge Nurse provides day to day support to the Nursing staff to ensure that resident care is carried out in accordance with Smith Village policies, procedures and standards.

Requirements
