Job summary

Smith Senior Living in Chicago is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for full-time and part-time roles. The LPN will engage in ongoing assessments of geriatric residents, ensure accurate medication dispensing, and deliver quality care alongside a dedicated team. Qualifications

• Must have a valid LPN License in Illinois.
• Long-term care experience preferred.
• Demonstrate a caring and compassionate attitude.

Responsibilities

• Perform ongoing assessments and observations of residents.
• Dispense and record all medications accurately.
• Carry out all physicians orders accurately.
• Ensure quality care delivery by CNAs and nurses.

Job description

Starting Pay: $34 per hour (Pay is based on previous experience)

$2 PM/Night shifts differential

10% weekend pay differential for all shifts

Open Roles:

Full-time role (1.1FTE) 12 hours Overnight 6pm - 6am shifts, Rotating Weekends

Full-time role (1.1FTE) 12 hours Day Shift 6am - 6pm shifts, Rotating Weekends

Full-time role (0.8FTE) 8 hours Mid-Shift 11:30am - 7:30pm shifts, Rotating Weekends (Admission Nurse)

Part-Time role (0.6FTE) 8 hours PM Shift 2:30pm-10:30pm, Rotating Weekends

Part-Time role (0.6FTE) 8 hours overnight 10:30pm-6:30am, Rotating Weekends

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform ongoing assessments and observations of the residents
• Dispensing and recording of all medications accurately
• Carrying out all physicians orders accurately
• Ensures that the care of the residents from CNA's and nurse is delivered appropriately
