Job summary

Smith Village in Illinois is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our caring nursing team serving geriatric residents. This role supports assessments, medication administration, and collaboration with physicians to deliver high-quality care.

We value compassion, reliability, and strong computer skills to manage electronic records. Full-time and part-time shifts are available, with weekend rotations and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• LPN License in good standing in Illinois
• Long-term Care experience (Preferred)
• Caring and compassionate nature

Responsibilities

• Perform ongoing assessments and observations of the residents
• Dispensing and recording of all medications accurately
• Carrying out all physicians orders accurately
• Ensures that the care of the residents from CNA's and nurse is delivered appropriately

Open Roles

• Full-time role (1.1FTE) 12 hours Overnight 6pm - 6am shifts Rotating Weekends


• Full-time role (1.1FTE) 12 hours Day Shift 6am - 6pm shifts Rotating Weekends


• Full-time role (0.8FTE) 8 hours Mid-Shift 11:30am -7:30pm shifts Rotating Weekends (Admission Nurse)


• Part-Time role (0.6FTE) 8 hours PM Shift 2:30pm-10:30pm Rotating Weekends


• Part-Time role (0.6FTE) 8 hours overnight 10:30pm-6:30am Rotating Weekends

Starting Pay

• $34 per hour (Pay is based on previous experience)


• $2 PM/Night shifts differential


• 10% weekend pay differential for all shifts

What You Bring To The Table
