Job summary

Smith Village in Chicago is seeking a Registered Nurse Charge Nurse i to lead the nursing team and coordinate with the interdisciplinary staff to deliver optimal resident care. You will assist with scheduling and ensure adequate staffing coverage, providing day-to-day support in accordance with Smith Village policies.

The role requires strong nursing leadership, excellent customer service, and solid computer skills to support resident care and documentation.

Qualifications

• Must have RN license in good standing in Illinois.
• Minimum 3 years Long Term Care experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service, communication and leadership skills.
• Strong computer skills are essential.

Responsibilities

Pay rate:$41 - 43 per hour (pay is based on experience)

Additional 10% weekend shifts differential

Job Description:

The RN Charge Nurse is a strong leader who serves as a resource for the nursing staff, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to deliver optimal resident care. Registered Nurse Charge Nurse Assists with scheduling and ensures adequate staffing coverage.The RN Charge Nurse provides day to day support to the Nursing staff to ensure that resident care is carried out in accordance with Smith Village policies, procedures and standards.

Requirements:

• Must have RN license in good standing in Illinois
