Job summary

PAM Health in Las Vegas is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver, direct and supervise care on the medical-surgical unit under the direction of nursing leadership. The RN will coordinate patient care, discharge planning, and family teaching, with an emphasis on interdisciplinary collaboration.

ACLS certification is required for Charge Nurses and BLS certification is required for all staff; ACLS must be obtained within 90 days of employment per policy.

Qualifications

• Education and Training: Holds a current licensure as a registered nurse (RN) in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if state participates.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• Evidence of ACLS certification is required within 90 days of employment. BLS and ACLS certifications must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment. Current ACLS certification is required for Charge Nurses.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, direct and supervise patient care on the nursing unit under the direction of Nursing leadership.
• Plan, coordinate and provide patient care including interdisciplinary planning, discharge planning and patient/family teaching.
• Charge Nurse duties may be required; ACLS certification required for Charge Nurses.
