Job summary

AMG Specialty Hospital - Zachary, part of the AMG Integrated Healthcare Management Hospital System, is seeking a Charge Nurse/Clinical Supervisor (RN) for night shifts. ICU, LTAC or step-down experience preferred.

You will supervise RNs, LPNs, CNAs and coordinate patient care with physicians to ensure safety and quality. We offer competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, ESOP, and an employee-owned structure.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Louisiana Registered Nurse Licensure unencumbered.
• Acutecare, med-surg, critical care or ICU experience is preferred.
• Current BLS certification.
• Current ACLS certification.
• Able to communicate effectively and positively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Detailed computer knowledge.
• Possess excellent interpersonal and human relation skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise patient care activities performed by RNs, LPNs/LVNs, CNAs.
• Communicate with Physicians/CCO/staff about changes in patient condition and diagnostic results.
• Respond to changes in patient condition quickly and appropriately.
• Foster a positive milieu in the hospital and keep leadership informed of potential risks.
• Provide direct patient care as required based on staffing and patient acuity.

AMG Specialty Hospital -Zachary is a FullTime Charge Nurse/Clinical Supervisor, (RN) with ICU, 2 yearsLTAC or Step-down experience for Night Shifts. The Charge Nursesupervises the patient care activities performed by other RNs, LPN/LVNs, andCNAs.Communicate with Physicians/CCO/staff, as appropriate aboutchanges in patient’s clinical condition including results of diagnostic studiesand symptomatology.Respond quickly and accurately to changes incondition or response to treatment. Responsible for fostering a positive milieuin the hospital. Keeps CCO and CEO apprised of situations that may placefacility at risk. Provides direct patient care as required based on staffingand patient acuity.
