AMG Specialty Hospital - Zachary, located in Zachary near Baton Rouge, LA, seeks a Full-Time Charge Nurse/Clinical Supervisor (RN) with ICU or LTAC/Step-down experience for night shifts. The Charge Nurse supervises care, coordinates with physicians, and ensures timely responses to patient changes while maintaining a positive unit environment.

Competitive hourly pay with night and weekend shift differentials.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Louisiana RN licensure, unencumbered.
• Acutecare, med-surg, critical care or ICU experience preferred.
• Current BLS certification.
• Current ACLS certification.
• Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Detailed computer knowledge.
• Excellent interpersonal and human relation skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise patient care activities performed by RNs, LPN/LVNs, and CNAs.
• Communicate with physicians and staff about changes in patient conditions.
• Ensure rapid and accurate response to changes in condition or treatment.
• Foster a positive milieu and keep leadership informed of risks to the facility.
• Provide direct patient care as required based on staffing and acuity.
