Job summary

Acadiana Management Group in Houma, LA is seeking PRN Registered Nurses for all shifts with ICU/Step-Down experience to join AMG Specialty Hospital-Houma.

You will provide direct and indirect patient care in LTAC, communicate changes to physicians and care team, and assist with high-acuity cases. AMG offers competitive pay, ESOP, and shift differentials for night and weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Louisiana RN licensure.
• ICU/ Critical Care or Step-Down experience preferred.
• Current BLS certification.
• Current ACLS certification.
• Able to communicate effectively in English, verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care in the LTAC setting.
• Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition.
• Communicate with physicians and co-workers about changes in patient condition.

AMG Specialty Hospital-Houmais seeking PRN Registered Nurses, RN for All Shifts with ICU/Step-downexperience!

Ability to communicatewith physicians, CCO/co-workers, as appropriate about changes in patient'sclinical condition including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology.Respond quickly and accurately to changes in conditionor response totreatment. Additionally, is able to perform general nursing duties in alldepartments with adequate supervision.Some of the medical conditions thatare commonly treated include but are not limited to; Respiratory Failurerequiring ventilation, vapotherm, high flow, bipap, cpap, and nasal cannula.Depending on the complexity of these patients, they can require sedation/painmanagement, pressor management, and cardiac/anti-arrhythmic management.Complicated infections requiring long-term IV antibiotics. Chronicnon-healing wounds requiring extensive treatment with wound vacs and frequentdressing changes. RN'swill beresponsible fordirect andindirect patient care in the long-term acute care setting.
