Ascension Health in Murfreesboro, TN is seeking an experienced RN to join the Med Surg unit as a charge nurse. This evening, full-time role focuses on leadership, coordinating patient assignments, and serving as a clinical resource for the team.

You will lead recovery after cardiac, IR, and EP procedures, monitor post-procedural status in real time, and advocate for seamless care across disciplines. The discharge process is coordinated to ensure families transition with clarity and confidence.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider within 1 month of hire date.
• Registered Nurse licensure required before hire date.
• Diploma from an accredited nursing program; RN credentialing per TN board.

Responsabilités

• Provide charge nurse leadership, support staff, assign patients, act as clinical resource.
• Lead recovery of patients after Cardiac, IR, and EP procedures with safety protocols.
• Monitor post-procedural recovery in real time and communicate shifts to care team for timely adjustments.
• Coordinate as central advocate between disciplines to ensure seamless care for inpatients and outpatients.
• Manage full discharge process to ensure clear, confident patient/family transitions.
