Job summary

Ascension Health in Murfreesboro, TN, is seeking a dedicated RN to join the PACU team for day shifts on a full-time basis. You will deliver direct nursing care per physician orders and protocols, coordinating with a multidisciplinary team to monitor patient progress and ensure safe recovery.

You will assess discharge needs and collaborate with staff to plan the next steps in each patient’s recovery pathway, leveraging your ACLS/BLS/PALS and nursing diploma to maintain high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing OR current home state license for multi-state license recognition “Compact State” obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Advanced Life Support (ACLS) obtained within 6 months of hire date or transfer date.
• BLS Provider obtained within 1 month of hire date or transfer date.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) obtained within 6 months of hire date or transfer date.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality direct nursing care by executing physician orders and clinical protocols.
• Serve as the central clinical coordinator for the multidisciplinary team and provide real-time updates on patient condition.
• Facilitate seamless transitions by assessing discharge needs and preparing patients for next recovery stage.
