Ascension Saint Thomas Rutherford in Murfreesboro, TN, is seeking an experienced RN for Labor & Delivery on a Full-Time, Nights schedule. You will provide direct nursing care within a high-acuity setting, coordinating with the broader care team to ensure safe, timely patient discharge.

Responsibilities include upholding clinical standards, managing ongoing care plans, and guiding multidisciplinary teams to optimize outcomes for mothers and newborns.

Qualifications

• Advanced Life Support (ALS) within 6 months of hire date.
• BLS Provider within 1 month of hire date.
• Neonatal Resuscitation certification within 6 months.
• TN RN license or compact multistate license before hire.

Responsibilities

• Clinical Governance: Executing direct nursing care while upholding standards and protocols.
• Case Management & Monitoring: Implementing care plans, tracking progress, and documenting changes in real-time.
• Interdisciplinary Leadership: Serving as contact point to ensure seamless communication between healthcare disciplines.
• Continuity of Care: Assessing and organizing resources for safe patient discharge.
