A healthcare provider in Albuquerque is seeking a Full Time Charge Nurse, RN for Days with ICU/Step-down experience. Responsibilities include supervising patient care activities, communicating with physicians about patient conditions, and providing direct patient care. The ideal candidate will have RN Licensure for New Mexico, experience in acute care, and excellent communication skills. Formación

• Current Registered Nurse Licensure for the State of New Mexico.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Acute care experience is preferred.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications are necessary.
• Knowledge of local, state and federal nursing laws.

Responsabilidades

• Supervises patient care activities by RNs, LPNs/LVNs, and CNAs.
• Communicates changes in patient conditions to physicians and staff.
• Responds quickly to changes in patient condition.
• Keeps leadership apprised of risks to the facility.
• Provides direct patient care based on staffing and acuity.

AMG Specialty Hospital – Albuquerque is seeking a Full Time Charge Nurse, RN for Days with ICU/Step-down experience. Supervises the patient care activities performed by other RNs, LPN/LVNs, and CNAs. Communicates with Physicians/CCO/staff about changes in patient condition, including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology. Responds quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment. Fosters a positive milieu in the hospital. Keeps CCO and CEO apprised of situations that may place the facility at risk. Provides direct patient care as required based on staffing and patient acuity.

Qualifications

• Able to read and communicate effectively in English. Must be able to articulate and explain complex information and comprehend written and verbal communication.
• Additional languages desirable.
• Detailed computer knowledge.
• Possess excellent interpersonal and human relation skills.
