Job summary

AMG Specialty Hospital - Albuquerque is seeking a registered nurse for night shifts with ICU/step-down experience to join our long-term acute care team. You will provide direct and indirect patient care, collaborate with physicians, and monitor critical conditions in a high‑acuity setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current RN licensure for the State of New Mexico.
• Acute care experience preferred.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect nursing care in the LTCH setting.
• Communicate with physicians and care team about patient conditions.
• Monitor patients and respond to changes in condition.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure safety.

AMG Specialty Hospital - Albuquerqueisofferinga$15,000Sign-On Bonus* for aFTRegistered Nurse, RN for Nights with ICU/Step-down experience!

Ability to communicatewith physicians, CCO/co-workers, as appropriate about changes in patient'sclinical condition including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology.Respond quickly and accurately to changes in conditionor response totreatment. Additionally, is able to perform general nursing duties in alldepartments with adequate supervision.Some of the medical conditions thatare commonly treated include but are not limited to; Respiratory Failurerequiring ventilation, vapotherm, high flow, bipap, cpap, and nasal cannula.Depending on the complexity of these patients, they can require sedation/painmanagement, pressor management, and cardiac/anti-arrhythmic management.Complicated infections requiring long-term IV antibiotics. Chronicnon-healing wounds requiring extensive treatment with wound vacs and frequentdressing changes. RN'swill beresponsible fordirect andindirect patient care in the long-term acute care setting.
