Qualified candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, along with AAPC CPC or AHIMA CCS coding certification, and at least 1 year of medical coding experience. The position offers an initial onsite training period followed by a hybrid work model allowing 90% remote work.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of medical coding experience.
• Experience in insurance billing guidelines.
• Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid billing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Review charge correction requests for coding accuracy.
• Electronically file replacement claims as needed.
• Report trends to management.
