Job summary

Dovel Technologies, Inc. seeks a Charge Corrections Medical Coder to review inpatient and outpatient coding (ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS) for accuracy, ensure compliance with LCD/NCD criteria, and report changes to collections teams.

After a 3–6 month onsite training, the position becomes hybrid with approximately 90% remote work. Requires HS diploma, 1+ year medical coding experience and CPC/CPC-A certification.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of medical coding experience.
• Experience in ICD-10, CPT and HCPCS Level II Coding.
• Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and third-party payer HCFA-1500 billing requirements. (CCI, MUE, Medical Necessity edits)

Responsibilities

• Review inpatient and outpatient coding requests for accuracy and corrections.
• Apply LCD/NCD criteria and insurance billing guidelines.
• Report changes to collections teams and file replacement claims as needed.
