Job summary

Legatus is seeking a Chapter Development Officer to advance new chapters in the Houston area under the Central Regional Vice President. The role blends organization, event coordination, and member engagement, serving as both organizer and ambassador to align chapter development with the Legatus mission.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and at least two years of sales experience, with strong communication, resourcefulness, and proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education.
• Minimum of two years of sales experience.
• Ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Attend training sessions and best-practice workshops.
• Carry out duties related to chapter development and maintenance.
• Interact with Catholic business executives to introduce them to the organization.
• Invite prospects to membership and manage the application process.
• Organize monthly events to deliver a high-quality Legatus experience.
• Schedule meetings with prospects and recruit charter members.
• Hold information nights with key charter members.
• Obtain chaplain's assistance.
• Organize and run chapter officer meetings.
• Hire and train chapter administrators.
