Job summary

Advocate Aurora Health in Wisconsin seeks a part-time Chaplain to deliver holistic spiritual care to patients, families, and staff, including short-term counseling and sacramental ministry, in alignment with site and system policies.

The role requires on-call rotation, overnight/weekend availability, and ability to move between care sites. Licensure eligible and ACPE-certified required; BA/BS or equivalent religious education.

Qualifications

• Must be able to participate in overnight and weekend on-call rotation per department schedule.
• Excellent oral and written communication and human relation skills.
• Demonstrated problem solving and ability to address conflicts.

Responsibilities

• Delivers holistic ministry of spiritual care for patients, families, team members and physicians.
• Responds to codes and emergencies; supports families and promotes patient safety.
• Facilitates discussions on medical-ethical dilemmas and ensures religious issues are addressed.
• Supports and interprets the mission and values of Advocate Aurora Health in responsibilities.
