Channel Account Manager (Builder Profile)

Location: United States (Remote)

Our client — a disruptive cybersecurity startup — is seeking a Channel Account Manager with a builder’s mindset to develop and scale their partner ecosystem from the ground up. This high-impact role is ideal for a self-starter who thrives in fast-paced environments and has a proven track record of building channel programs within early-stage GTM motions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, launch, and scale the company's first formal channel program across North America.
  • Identify, recruit, and activate top-tier VARs, MSSPs, and strategic alliance partners.
  • Build joint GTM plans, driving partner-led pipeline creation and acceleration.
  • Equip partners with the tools, training, and support needed to succeed.
  • Act as the internal voice of the partner, collaborating cross-functionally with Sales, Product, and Marketing.
  • Track, analyze, and optimize partner performance to ensure strong ROI and revenue contribution.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of channel development or channel sales experience within cybersecurity startups or early-stage tech companies.
  • Demonstrated success building or significantly scaling a channel program from scratch.
  • Deep understanding of the cybersecurity buyer ecosystem, partner landscape, and startup GTM challenges.
  • High-energy, scrappy, and highly accountable — comfortable wearing multiple hats.
  • Exceptional relationship management, negotiation, and execution skills.
