Erdrich Umformtechnik is seeking a skilled Change Over Specialist to support manufacturing operations with efficient machine changeovers, setup optimization, and peak equipment performance. You will minimize downtime and uphold quality standards while driving operational excellence.

The role emphasizes hands-on problem solving, adherence to safety, and continuous improvement within a fast-paced production environment. Flexible shifts and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Technical training or certification in manufacturing or metalworking.
• Several years of manufacturing experience, especially metal forming.
• Experience with machine changeovers and tooling changes.
• Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools.
• Forklift and crane experience.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Perform machine and tooling changeovers per schedules and procedures.
• Prepare equipment and materials for production runs.
• Support planning by ensuring machines are ready.
• Troubleshoot setup issues and minimize downtime.
• Maintain accurate setup and production documentation.
• Assist with preventive maintenance & safety.
• Support continuous improvement and Lean initiatives.
