Erdrich USA is hiring an Automotive Stamping Setup & Tooling Changeover Specialist to own tooling changeovers, dial in presses for quality and throughput, and mentor operators on best practices. You'll review setup sheets, stage tooling, operate cranes, and document changes.

This role demands hands-on mechanical skill, reliability, and the ability to drive continuous improvements in a fast-paced stamping environment.

Competenze

3+ years in manufacturing, stamping, metal forming, tooling, maintenance, or equipment setup.
Ability to perform machine and die changeovers independently.
Fluency in reading blueprints and using precision measuring tools.
Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Mansioni

Execute die and tooling changeovers on production equipment with speed and accuracy.
Prepare machines and tooling for upcoming production runs.
Verify setups meet quality specifications and production targets.
Troubleshoot setup-related issues to reduce downtime and stabilize processes.
Operate overhead cranes and forklifts safely during changeovers.
Interpret production documents, setup sheets, blueprints, and work instructions.
Partner with production, maintenance, quality, and leadership to meet goals.
Recommend and implement improvements that reduce setup times and boost productivity.
Assist in training operators and fellow setup personnel.
Maintain 7S, safety, and housekeeping standards at all times.
