Job summary

The United States Golf Association (USGA) seeks a Coordinator, U.S. Women’s Open Operations to oversee advance planning, budgeting, vendor coordination, construction oversight, and on-site execution for the U.S. Women’s Open.

Liaise with host site, vendors, consultants, municipalities, and staff to ensure seamless operations. Based at Inverness Club in Toledo, OH, with relocation possible for future sites and a housing stipend available.

Qualifications

• 1–3+ years of relevant sports operations experience, ideally large events.
• Ability to develop and manage budgets with vendor scopes.
• Strong leadership, project management, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage host-site relationships, timelines, space needs, and post-event restoration.
• Lead procurement and RFP processes for championship services with USGA Procurement.
• Support budget management with Finance for invoices and reconciliations.
• Direct execution of operational scopes: trailers, fences, restrooms, furniture, equipment.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and stakeholders across the Open Operations group.
