The ideal candidate has 3,000+ total hours, Challenger 3500 type rating, FAA First Class Medical, and valid US passport, with excellent communication and leadership in dynamic environments.

Qualifications

• 3,000+ hours total time required.
• Current type rating on Challenger 3500.
• Holds a Pilot Certificate, an FCC Radio Permit, and an FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
• Valid, unexpired U.S. passport.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Take primary responsibility for the safe and efficient ground and in-flight operation of the aircraft.
• Report administratively to the Chief Pilot.
• Verify passenger identifications prior to boarding and complete pre-flight checklists.
• Train and mentor First Officers on assigned flights and aircraft.
• Anticipate customer needs and exceed expectations.
• Maintain coordination with crew, dispatch, maintenance, and administration.
• Comply with FAA regulations, Thrive Aviation’s GOM, Ops Specs, and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management or senior leadership.

What You'll Do

• Take primary responsibility for the safe and efficient ground and in-flight operation of the aircraft.
• Report administratively to the Chief Pilot.
• Verify the identification of all passengers prior to boarding and ensure thorough completion of all pre-flight checklists.
• Train and mentor First Officers on assigned flights and aircraft, modeling leadership and professionalism.
• Anticipate customer needs and consistently strive to exceed expectations.
• Maintain clear communication and coordination with the assigned crew, dispatch, maintenance, and administration.
• Comply with FAA regulations, Thrive’s General Operations Manual (GOM), Operations Specifications, and departmental procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management or senior leadership.

What You Bring

• Minimum 3,000 hours total time.
• Current type rating on the Challenger 3500.
• Holds a Pilot Certificate, an FCC Radio Permit, and an FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
• Valid, unexpired U.S. passport.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; thrives in a fast-paced environment and embraces new challenges as the company grows.
• Meets physical requirements to maintain an FAA First Class Medical and remain seated in a small space for extended periods.

Operating Environment

• Close interaction with customers and flight crew in a small cabin/flight deck environment.
• Irregular hours with flights or cancellations that may occur on short notice.
• Travel that may require several days or weeks away from home each week.
