Thrive Aviation is seeking a First Officer to ensure safe and efficient ground and in‑flight operations. You will maintain clear and effective communication with leadership, team members, and dispatch while upholding the highest safety standards.

Requirements include 1,000 hours fixed‑wing, 500 hours PIC, US passport, Commercial Pilot with Multi/Instrument, FCC radio, FAA First Class Medical, and the ability to travel internationally.

Qualifications

  • 1000 hours of Fixed Wing Total Time
  • 500 hours of PIC Total Time
  • Valid US Passport (not expired)
  • Commercial Pilot Certificate with Multi/Instrument Rating
  • FCC Radio License
  • Current, valid FAA First Class Medical Certificate
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Eligible to fly internationally without restrictions
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt as the company grows
  • Live within 2 hours of KLAS or Thrive Aviation’s remote Crew Bases

Position Summary

The First Officer is primarily responsible for safe and efficient ground and in-flight operations of the aircraft. A successful First Officer will exceed our customers’ expectations while maintaining clear and effective communication with Leadership, Team Members and dispatch.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Administratively responsible to the Chief Pilot.
  • Primarily responsible for safe and efficient ground and in-flight operation of the aircraft.
  • Anticipate our customers’ needs and strive to exceed their expectations.
  • Comply with FAA regulations, Thrive’s GOM, Operational Specifications, and adhere to department operating procedures.
  • Maintain communications and coordination with assigned crew, dispatch, maintenance, and administration.
  • Other duties as assigned by management or senior leadership.
Requirements
Experience & Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
  • 1,000 hours of Fixed Wing Total Time
  • 500 hours of PIC Total Time
  • Valid US Passport (must not be expired)
  • Commercial Pilot Certificate with Multi/Instrument Rating
  • FCC Radio License
  • Current, valid FAA First Class Medical Certificate
  • The ability to communicate effectively.
  • Eligible to fly internationally into any country or jurisdiction without restrictions
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and willing to take on new challenges as the company grows.
  • Live within 2 hours of KLAS or one of Thrive Aviation’s remote Crew Bases
Preferred Qualifications (in addition to Thrive Aviation’s minimum qualification requirements for this position as listed above):
  • 1,500+ hours of Fixed Wing Total Time
  • 50+ hours of Multi-Engine Time
  • 500 hours of Total Turbine Time
  • Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate
  • Previous experience in Corporate Aviation/Part 135 Charter
  • Current type rating for aircraft within our fleet.
Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to maintain the seated position in a small space for an extended period.
Work Environment

  • Employee may be required to spend several days/weeks away from home each week while working.
