Job summary

Destiny Dental, an affiliate of ProSmile, located in Detroit, MI, seeks a Dental Assistant to support clinical needs under dentist supervision. You will assist chairside, manage records and scheduling, and collaborate with dental hygienists in daily duties.

Qualifications include a High School diploma or GED, 1+ year experience, and DRT licensing or willingness to pursue, with HIPAA/OSHA compliance and flexibility for evenings/weekends. This is an on-site role in the Operations department.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years work experience as a Dental Assistant.
• Applicable licensing required: Dental Radiologic Technologist (DRT) license or willingness to pursue immediately.
• Radiation Health and Safety certificate.
• Certified Dental Assistant certificate preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility in scheduling, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Chairside assistance and instrument handling for patient care.
• Maintain inventory control in operatories.
• Adhere to OSHA, HIPAA, and CDC guidelines.
• Provide scheduling and post-treatment follow-up information to patients.
• Assist with basic lab procedures such as impressions and preparing cases for external labs.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
