Job summary
ProSmile's Destiny Dental affiliate is seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to support clinicians and hygienists across our Michigan practices. You will help with patient care, recordkeeping, and appointment scheduling under the supervision of dentists.
Responsibilities include chairside assistance, inventory control, adherence to OSHA/HIPAA/CDC guidelines, scheduling follow-ups, basic lab tasks such as impressions and model pours, and flexible scheduling including evenings or weekends when
Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED required.
- DRT license or willing to pursue licensure immediately.
- Radiation Health and Safety certificate.
- Certified Dental Assistant certificate preferred.
- 1+ years of experience as a Dental Assistant.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Some scheduling flexibility including evenings and weekends.
Responsibilities
- Chairside assistance and patient care.
- Maintain inventory in operatories.
- Adhere to OSHA, HIPAA, and CDC guidelines.
- Support scheduling, follow-up treatment, and record keeping.
- Perform basic lab procedures such as impressions and model pours.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
