Destiny Dental, an affiliate of ProSmile, seeks a Dental Assistant to support clinical needs under dentists and with hygienists. The role emphasizes patient care, recordkeeping, and scheduling, with responsibilities across chairside assistance and basic lab tasks.

The position requires a high school diploma, DRT licensure or pursuit, and experience in a fast-paced dental practice; flexibility for evenings/weekends is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• DRT license or willingness to pursue licensure immediately required.
• Radiation Health and Safety certificate required.
• Certified Dental Assistant certificate preferred; not mandatory.
• 1+ years work experience as a Dental Assistant.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment; flexible scheduling including evenings/weekends if needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentist chairside and demonstrate knowledge of dental instruments.
• Maintain inventory in operatories.
• Adhere to OSHA, HIPAA, and CDC guidelines.
• Coordinate scheduling, follow-up treatment, and patient information.
• Perform basic lab tasks: impressions, stone models, and case prep for external labs.
• Carry out miscellaneous duties as assigned.
